IOW, Israel has *zero* accountability for the decisions they make because Hamas started it.
Starving the civilian population because Hamas may be stealing some of the food aid is a morally bankrupt position.

At least 40 Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes on Gaza on Monday, including 10 seeking aid, health authorities said, adding another five had died of starvation in what humanitarian agencies say may be an unfolding famine.

The Germans quickly abandoned Nazi affiliation after the war, and even then, still suffered around the world through constant deportations.
Now we have Palestinians who still allow Hamas to be their government, and they are being defended by Westerners.

I think it's too early to tell on that one...
Given that the international community is getting increasingly "Okay, enough" towards Bibi (as is half of the MAGA base here in the US, and 75% of the Democratic party)
Full-blown occupation at the expense of losing all your allies could spell disaster for them.
