SPENCER: The prime minister, defense minister, the chief of staff saying, our fight is not with the people of Gaza. It is with Hamas. And all the mountain of evidence of what Israel is doing to preserve infrastructure, civilian life, to provide services - both medical. I mean, the number of field hospitals, the number of water pipes, the amount of aid. All of these things are contradictions.

We have to get past the propaganda, such as that New York Times photo of that baby supposedly being starved in Gaza who really was a child with cystic fibrosis.

Spencer never spoke to a single Palestinian. This is shamefully bias.

QUOTES:
INSKEEP: Were you able also to talk with Palestinians as you were going in with the Israeli Defense Forces?

SPENCER: No, unfortunately, not. Just based on safety, really, issues. I'm embedded from a military lens.

A shameful and morally bankrupt interview.

The bias seems to be on your part. As Spencer explained, security precluded him from doing so. Likewise was the situation with Japanese civilians during World War II, American journalists could not interview them for safety reasons. As I've said, the fact that Israel has gone to such extreme lengths to avoid civilian casualties and help the civilians after such an attack is absolutely unprecedented in world history. Even though Hamas revels in torturing Jews, openly as a boast by showing a video of a captured Israeli they are starving to death, Israel continues to make humanitarian efforts.

Relying on just one party's account makes it impossible to form an objective understanding of the overall situation.

And yet, without Hamas none of this would have happened.
I'm missing some posts I think. Maybe I need to contact the mods. For some reason the ones supporting Hamas and excusing what they did simply don't appear when I log on.

Considering that the Gaza now lies in ruins and some 50, 000 people in Gaza now lay dead, with a good portion being woman and children. That’s almost a ratio of 50 / 1. How much blood does Israel want ? And of course there is the question that has largely been ignored by the main stream media. How did Hamas manage to breach one of the most sophisticated security defences in the world. Why were the Israeli spotter girls ignored. Why did it take anywhere up to 4-7 hours for the Israel army to actually respond. Why were not the Apache helicopters send into action immediately they could have been at any breach of the wall in minutes. Seems there was a lot of deliberate sleepiness on Israel’s behalf considering that many Israel citizens warned Israel intelligence that something was coming soon . You must remember Israel intelligence can see for miles across the boarder from any impending threat

It's more a question of how much blood does Hamas want? They attacked, and kept attacking Israel, knowing full well that Israel had significantly greater military power and that Palestinian civilians would end up dead (especially with Hamas using civilians as shields) and attacked anyways.

This reminds me of all the why questions asked by conspiracy theorists about the 9/11 World Trade Center attack, claiming it was an inside job.

Israel does not want blood, it is Hamas and the Gazans who support them who want the blood of women and children. As to security, Hamas begged the world for concrete they said they needed. They spent years carefully and craftily building an extensive tunnel system, linked to hospitals so they could hide there. Many many Gazans had to know this but did not report it to the United States or Israel. Defense people get complacent, we saw this with President Trump and the Secret Service. They had an active report of someone with a range finder and let the president go out there in public. Locally here there were two people here that called and called FBI headquarters and reported a Muslim was taking flying lessons for a jumbo aircraft but repeatedly said he did not want to learn how to land. Here too the Biden administration released people on the terrorist list into our country.

I'm saying they are going out of there way to avoid civilian casualties, to an unprecedented level in world history. The United States and Britain firebombed Dresden and the U.S. did the same to Tokyo, not trying to avoid civilian casualties. Hamas is dug in underground and enjoys the killing of civilians, and the Gazans have not yet risen up against Hamas. At some point they will run out of weapons and ammunition, and countries need to stop condemning and step up and agree to take in Gazan civilians.

Not doing a very good job, are they. And neither are you, trying to excuse so much death and destruction. Trying to avoid infrastructure damage? That was just one picture I posted. How many civilians do you think are buried beneath what's left of these homes?

This is not an example of anyone trying to surgically remove terrorists. This isn't an example of anyone trying desperately to avoid innocent women and children being blown to bits and crushed in the rubble of their own homes. This is, as anyone with eyes to see and half a brain, is mass destruction with no thought of the consequences.

I'm glad that you mentioned Dresden. The total deaths there, with - as you say, no thought of preserving the life of innocents, was about one third of the deaths in Gaza. One third! By 800 bombers. And you say that Israel is trying to avoid civilian deaths? Bombing of Dresden | History, Deaths, & Facts | Britannica

And I'm glad that you mentioned Tokyo. With an intention of actively killing as many innocent people as possible, the death toll there, from 334 B-29 bombers was about the same number as deaths in Gaza! And you say that Israel is trying to avoid civilian deaths? Bombing of Tokyo (1945) | WWII Firebombing, Casualties & Legacy | Britannica

Why don't we mention Nagasaki while we're at it? They used an atomic bomb on the place for heaven's sake and the death toll was lower than Gaza! And you say that Israel is trying to avoid civilian deaths? Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - Wikipedia

And let's mention the Blitz. And not just on London. On the whole of the UK during the war. A country spending months trying to kill as many people as possible with thousands of bombers flying hundreds of sorties. And the death toll was about half of that in Gaza! And you say that Israel is trying to avoid civilian deaths? The Blitz - Wikipedia

Maybe the numbers are meaningless for you. Maybe you can't envisage tens of thousands of people. Well, here's a small portion of the 90,000 plus people who marched across the Harbour Bridge in Sydney yesterday.

We were all supporting Palestine. Not Hamas. We were all marching for those in Gaza. Not Hamas. We were all saying that this genocide must end. And this may be hard to believe, but it's the absolute truth, as we can all see...some people simply don't care. Shame on every single one of them.

They are doing what they can. Hamas wants women and children killed for their cause. As I've said, the countries of the world have not stepped up. What about Jordan and Egypt? Why has the United Nations not yet brokered a deal for the release of the hostages?

No they are not! You saw the figures I just gave you. With people intent on killing as many civilians as possible, sometimes over a year or more using thousands of aircrafts and even nuclear weapons, they still couldn't match what Israel has done in Gaza! And this with modern weapons that can be directed with pin-point accuracy.

Your claim that they are trying to avoid innocent deaths is unforgivable. It is not even a travesty of the truth because it has no connection with the truth whatsoever. Please stop.

The war would have been over long ago had Israel not tried to avoid civilian deaths. Gaza is not that large of an area. Give it some thought.

I'm really not the slightest bit interested in your excuses for so much death. It shows such a lack of care and compassion that it truly astounds me.
