Russiagate is one of the most significant scandals in American history, and it totally shatters the media-manufactured myth of Barack Obama.

Newly released details by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard about the Trump-Russia collusion scandal paint a picture of an Obama administration that used official power to tarnish and destroy a political opponent.

My colleague Virginia Allen had an excellent write-up on the Wednesday release from the House Intelligence Committee report, which, according to Gabbard, “exposes how the Obama administration manufactured the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment that they knew was false, promoting the LIE that Vladimir Putin and the Russian government helped President [Donald] Trump win the 2016 election.”

Gabbard doubled down Wednesday, saying that Obama’s national security team “knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as though it were true. It wasn’t.”

As details of the Russia collusion hoax drip out from the White House, the whole thing keeps looking worse for the Obama administration.

History will show Obama is innocent and Gabbard a liar.

She's offered nothing yet.
She has offered hundreds of pages of recently declassified documents and emails from the Obama administration.

A century from now, students may remember Obama as the first African American president and Trump for two impeachments and leading during COVID-19. Presidents like Biden, Clinton, Bush, and Reagan may only be minor notes in history books, just as most presidents today are overshadowed by names like Washington, Lincoln, FDR, Eisenhower, and Truman.

We can only hope.

This is treason in the highest and HRC and Obama should be in jail.
If this is considered a treasonous act, why have President Obama and HRC remained free two weeks after the NSA submitted their findings?

I know building a prosecution case, especially for a high-profile American, takes time. But when did American policy start allowing people accused of treason to walk around freely?

The files were classified and hidden till just a couple days ago. That doesn’t mean there is no treason, it just means the files need to be reviewed by the DoJ who isn’t in on the coverup so they know what charges to file. And unlike the J6ers, most of whom were thrown in jail for over a year on misdemeanor charges, and deprived of due process, the current DoJ prefers to obey the law. Hence, they won’t be arrested till charges are filed. If at all. And even if they aren’t, at least we know the truth of what went down and who participated in it. A lot has been known for years, thanks to Biden who admitted to being in the meeting with Obama and HRC, but without physical proof, there was nothing that could be done before now.

The DOJ did not require a declassified document to conduct its review, as personnel at the DOJ and NSA could handle this and pursue charges if needed. It appears the administration prefers public litigation over judiciary processes. When did U.S. policy shift to declassifying evidence from ongoing investigations?

When the country demanded transparency after the super secretive shenanigans of the previous administration.

We are no longer under the Biden administration, so discussing its shortcomings is not productive. I am not interested in placing blame or engaging in whataboutism.

My point is straightforward. If President Obama or the CIA Director committed treason, why not prosecute them through the judicial system and indict them? Isn’t that how we Americans have addressed such matters for the past 250 years? What purpose does declassifying documents and then turning to the media to discuss these issues serve?

I was not talking about whataboutism. I was talking about why the voters voted for Trump. It was a mandate to make everything transparent. And I believe we have a right to know who all the players were in what is likely the biggest presidential scandal in history, and what they did to this once great nation. And how much it cost us, the taxpayers.

I’m pretty sure they have been turned over to the prosecutors so the full scope of the crime can be investigated and they will be indicted and prosecuted under the law. Why would you think otherwise?? Just because previous administrations were secretive to the point you didn’t know what was happening, and got investigated yourself if you made too much noise, doesn’t mean it was the right way to do it.

The scandal resulted in the indictment and conviction or guilty pleading of at least 8 Trump underlings involved in collusion with Russian agents. So far, no one can show that Obama was involved in the plot at all.

here's a breakdown of guilty pleas

they are basically almost all perjury traps (making false statements to FBI or Congress). If it was anything impressive, you would eagerly highlight the damning guilt of conspiracy, but you know that wouldn't work well for your case.

it's really pretty sad to have to point to these convictions as "evidence" that there was anything true about the Russia collusion hoax.

So far, no one can show that Obama was involved in the plot at all.

according to the records declassified by the current DNI, Obama made the call to suddenly scrap the IC consensus that Russia posed no significant threat to the election and did not favor any particular candidate,

to then produce a new IC report in which they were suddenly a major election threat that was colluding with Trump.

in this new IC report, senior analysts were shut down when they insisted that fake intel was being used (steele) to cook up narrative

it's funny to me that you can look at something like those nothingburger Trump admin indictments and hallucinate a grand Russian Collusion conspiracy, but on the other hand you have this evidence of manufactured and quite obviously politicized intelligence laid out before you and be like "huh, what? I don't see nothin"

Obama remained intentionally ignorant of the details on all of this with plenty of plausible deniability and will likely skate free.
His IC heads (Brennan, Clapper, Comey) will most likely take the fall.

Yeah, and all they got on Al Capone was tax evasion. Nice guy, otherwise, right? C'mon.

it's really pretty sad to have no defense but "they weren't really bad felonies."

Posssibly the CIA recording of two Russian intelligence officers congratulating themselves on throwing the election for Trump had something to do with it, you think?

See above. The Russians thought they had one going. That was the consensus among U.S. intelligence officials.

Ex-CIA analyst challenges Trump’s attempt to discredit Russian election interference probe

The Trump administration is trying to discredit the intelligence assessment that concluded Russian President Putin ordered a campaign to interfere in the 2016 election with the intent of helping elect Trump. Contrary to almost all intelligence findings, Trump and his aides allege a conspiracy by the Obama White House. Geoff Bennett discussed more with former CIA analyst Michael Van Landingham.
...
President Trump now relitigating the 2016 campaign and seeking to undermine the assessment while facing ongoing questions about the Jeffrey Epstein case. The report's purpose, to document what was known about how and why Russia interfered to help Mr. Trump win.

An unclassified version of the report concluded: "Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 to undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton and harm her electability and potential presidency."

More likely, this "nothingburger" to use your term, was just another frantic attempt to divert attention from Trump's involvement in Jeffrey Epstein's activities. He's now reduced to whining that Epstein "stole" girls from Mar-A-Lago.

It's not working:

Most Americans Think Epstein Files Contain 'Embarrassing' Info About Trump

According to a poll by the Washington Post, 61 percent of people think that documents about the convicted sex offender, who died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting sex trafficking charges, will reveal "embarrassing information" about Trump.
Trump has been embroiled in ongoing controversy over his handling of files related to Epstein. Initially, the White House ordered a review of the case and said it would publish names and evidence about Epstein's associates. However, a July memo by the FBI and Justice Department said there was no Epstein "client list" and that no further charges would be brought. The announcement triggered a backlash among those who called for more transparency about the case.

Americans are overwhelmingly skeptical of Donald Trump‘s handling of information related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. In a new UMass Amherst national poll, 70 percent of respondents said Trump is not handling the Epstein case well, while only 18 percent said he is.
Among respondents who were aware of Epstein, the deceased billionaire and convicted sex offender, 63 percent agreed that the Trump administration “is hiding important information” about the case. Of those who said the administration is hiding information, a staggering 81 percent blamed Trump for it. Others in Trump’s orbit also received blame, including Attorney General Pam Bondi (59 percent), FBI Director Kash Patel (49 percent), and House Speaker Mike Johnson (47 percent). Just 16 percent blamed Democrats in Congress.

The president’s overall approval rating also took a dive to 38 percent, down six points since April.

they already got one guy on FISA warrant fraud, going after the Trump admin.

they got the FBI lead investigator texting how they were going to "stop Trump".

they got IC heads knowingly pushing false intelligence, which are the latest revelations.

just for starters, and it's going to get a lot worse.

by your standards, the case is already more than made: the Obama intelligence community was trying to take down the incoming President.

that narrative already has a lot more legs than your Russia-Collusion fantasy ever had.
