God's will does not extend to material things breaking down or wearing out.
God created every atom you are interacting with to communicate with me.
he knows when xyz will fail, and will warn you ahead of time if that is what you need.

as for my experiences.. while some of them i regret.. i have to say: i regret most the opportunities i lost .. because i talked about them before they happened.

Well why would you, if she was a complete stranger?
What had the woman to do with anything?
i wanted to talk to her, but didn't have a good opportunity.

so instead something other than me provided me one, in one of the most interesting ways i've ever been provided.
anyhow..

you seem to attribute my experiences to satan and not God. so, what are you doing on this forum?

if God cannot provide anyone foreknowledge of what God's will is, but satan can, and does.. who is more powerful?

God created everything in the universe - absolutely true.

No.
While God sees even the smallest sparrow that falls and knows all about us, he does not speak to us to warn us that our television/car/DVD player is about to break down and we need to get a new one.

Even assuming you prayed before buying the car/tv and God told you it was ok to spend a lot of money to buy it.

God does not micromanage our lives to the extent that he says, "you need to buy new batteries" or "your DVD player needs replacing." Implying that if someone's car broke down it would be because they weren't close to God, is incorrect and unkind.
my brother had a rear wheel bearing break down and he asked God " can i just tighten the nut? and he hears "yes but it will cost you"

it did fix it... and it also did cost him.
he drove the next 120 miles at around 10 miles per hour. waiting half an hour every few minutes of driving to let the seized axle cool off. but, got to where he was going. 1200$ later it got fixed.

a few years later he then asked God to keep that car running until he didn't need it.
he bought another car. about a month later.. the differential blew up. in hindsight.. he didn't need it anymore.

YOU said,
i get out of the truck and satan says to me something to the effect of "you wanted to stop and talk to her?"
Why are YOU attributing these words to Satan and not God?

Why are YOU attributing these words to Satan and not God?
It was definitely satan that said to me: "you wanted to speak to her? just as my truck dies right in front of her? yes. that was satan. 100%.

God doesn't play games like that.

here's another example:

back in 2019 i had a dream on a saturday night in which my ex wife was pregnant and i was told to name our future child robin [wood]
the next day at church a confused elderly woman walks up to me specifically and asks me to help her find her car. she parked it somewhere. i drive her all around town. the whole time she is singing my praises.. "someone raised you right" etc. she suddenly remembers.. she parked her car at her sons house... so we go there. its on Robbin wood drive. the same name as in the dream, and my ex's real last name.

the amount of effort it took for satan to make that situation manifest? not trivial.

i shared this with a mentor, he was 100%, this is greek God level of nonsense

So why did you say to me;
you seem to attribute my experiences to satan and not God.
when you are also saying,
It was definitely satan that said to me: "you wanted to speak to her? just as my truck dies right in front of her? yes. that was satan. 100%.

I did not suggest that Satan was speaking to you - they were your words.

If you believe that the devil speaks to you and can control certain aspects of your life, what are YOU doing on this forum?

We know God's will for our life in the broad sense, of course:

1 Timothy 2:3–4 (ESV)
“This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

2 Peter 3:9 (NIV)
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise... He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

1 Thessalonians 4:3 (NIV)
“It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality.”

Romans 12:1–2 (ESV)
“...present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God... Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (NIV)
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

1 Peter 2:15 (ESV)
“For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.”

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Micah 6:8 (NIV)
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

John 13:34–35 (NIV)
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples...”

Matthew 22:37–39 (ESV)
“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BUT, WHAT ABOUT SPECIFIC EVENTS IN YOUR LIFE?

Specific daily events that are trivial compared to the concepts and commands in these Bible verses.

For example, if my car broke down as I was going to the coffee shop to get coffee, am I right in saying it was God's will for the car to break down?

What are your thoughts, guys?
2 Timothy 3:15-17 (KJV)

15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works
.

that is what the scripture says it thoroughly furnishes all good works, and that’s the will of God! So yes the scripture is key to doing the will of God

It's not biblical to say God gives visions nowadays. He did in the past, but the Bible is sufficient for us. God does not currently provide private truths that are only given to specific people. Truth comes from the Bible, and the truth is for all to hear and for all to interpret
Perhaps your cessionist and thats fine if you wish to limit visions. My personal experience says otherwise. I believe visiins come from the gift discerning of spirits. There are some that get them fairly often, others rare or none at all. I recall once i was seeking God about my next move. I saw a picture of a man playing pedal steel guitar. I knew That it was in church and also it was likely conceening my move. When i got to that city which i had never been, i attended a local assembly of god church. At the end of the service a woman came up to me. She told me God had said to her to tell me about another church. So i asked her, did the church have a pedal steel guitar? She said yes. Now admittedly its highly unusual for someone in one church to speak to a visitor about another church. But how would i otherwise know? So, i attended the other church, saw the oedal steel and praised God i was in the right place. A small example. I know an evangelist who would see pictures of where people would hurt. I once attended a meeting and he looked right ar me and called out my knee pain. I had not seen him in like 20 years but i got a healing. Some 20 years ago he told me i would be teaching in front of many. He saw it. That also came true. Old men will dream dreams and young men will visions. Desire earnestly spiritual gifts. It does not make you a better Christian, but the gifts have a purpose for some.
