Hi, I was looking in the Magnificat Missal and today is the Feast of St. James. Does a feast indicate that one can eat meat? Or am I mistaking it for a Solemnity?

Yes, usually but once in a blue, on a Friday, there is a certain situation where the Diocese says we can eat meat, but this doesn't happen often. It happened on the Good Friday before I confirmed. I forgot why.
