I'd take Eric first, personally.
Tiffany seems ok. I like that she’s not really in the spotlight like her other siblings.

I’d never vote for her to be president but I got nothing against her.

The twenty eighth amendment should be a disqualification of all family of former presidents from holding any federal office or cabinet position for 100 years.

If i had to predict, I think that Trump's second term honeymoon is about over. Wars, an economic quagmire and this never ending battle on illegals is going to take its toil. The GOP will likely lose the House in 2026 and then it will be pretty much a lame duck Presidency with the exception being putting out one fire (crisis) after another. What an exhausting 4 years. May Jesus return soon.
I completely agree, with the exception of the last sentence being unlikely.

Closer than ever but perhaps unlikely or even the wrong end times thinking on my part. God bless

Vance doesn't have what psychologists call the halo effect. He does not have personal magnetism. Obama had the halo effect. Trump seems to have what I can only define as the busted halo effect. He would be easier to defeat but his policies would be as heartless, cruel and immoral.

The halo effect is inherently subjective.

Well the Trump effect on his base certainly proves that.
Vance doesn't have it, although tech money can purchase some.

It does seem likely to me that the Vance admin would court Big Tech and their big bucks.

This is a tough question. It's hard to say, driven by a combination of Vance's very short political career and the fact he has been so inconsistent in that same career. I think he's a more cla ssi cal kind of conservative, but who knows what that means practically?

Vance's Senate seat was essentially purchased for him by Peter Thiel, who then leaned on Trump to pick Vance for VP. What does Thiel want a Vance administration to look like?

Without the looming threat of Trump giving him the "Pence treatment" and sending the MAGA-hounds after him, I think he'd basically be a George W Bush style republican.

Which means, he certainly still wouldn't be popular among Democrats, but would represent a move back toward "normalcy" in the eyes of a lot of folks.

But the question is, would he be able to win without the "Trumpy stuff"?

I think the verdict is out on that one... That would largely depend on who his opponent was.

If the Democrats run an AOC, then a "conventional republican" wins.

If the Democrats run a Gavin Newsom, then a republicans would likely have to embrace some "Trumpy stuff" to beat him.

The poll does not suppose that the Vance administration would result from his running; he already ran and is now next in line.

I think the Berniecrat faction of the Democatic party understand that they have to play a longer game than that.

That would be his best chance. Don't forget, he is a Roman Catholic which would perhaps encourage him to put a kindlier face on the "Trumpy stuff." Some of Trump's policies are popular even with centrists and would be even more so shorn of their "revenge on the libs" trappings.
