It logically means there are a minimum of 2 parties present within every person. That would be the person and the tempter (or his own).

Applying this standard to the Words of God then, the same Word can for example be "for and in behalf of mankind" and simultaneously "against the devil and his messengers."

Taking it to an example, Jesus looked at Peter and rebuked Satan speaking from Peter's own lips.

That Word was against the devil and in behalf of Peter.

If you get it, let me know. This is enough to discuss if it has never occurred to you prior, particularly "personally."

How so? Because IF we deny the personal applicablility of Mark 4:15, right here, right now, for ourselves, we are technically "in denial" of His Words and it is our enemy who is doing that action "within us" by theft of this particular Word.

The base line for this includes "all people" having sin, never being sinless and ALL of our sin being in fact "of the devil," per 1 John 3:8 for example.

IF the tempter is present in our minds/hearts we are therefore "sinners." Even if that sin is not of us, as in theft of Word from our hearts for example.

Try to work it through for yourself before responding in denial.

Just so you know I accept the fact of 2 Cor. 5:19, where sins, no matter what they are, how many, how active or current, are NOT COUNTED against people, particular against Christians.

Therefore nothing I say to you as a believer is meant to "threaten" your salvation. That is simply not in my positions whatsoever.
