Tech mogul's new political movement comes one day after Trump signed $3.3T 'big, beautiful bill' into law

Elon Musk says the two-party system is broken, and he just launched a new political party to prove it.

On Saturday, Musk announced on X, the social media platform he owns, the formation of the "America Party," calling it a direct response to what he described as a corrupt political establishment that no longer represents the American people.

Absolutely the worse thing Musk can do. We already have enough division in this nation without his trying to become in charge of a political party. He needs to stick to what he does best. I am very disappointed in Elon

Well it might be interesting to see how it turns out. Personally I think it will probably fizzle. Because I think Musk has alienated himself from both liberal and conservative voters and I doubt there's enough middle ground to give him enough support. But who knows?

I think Musk’s new party will draw a lot of Democrat voters who support the climate change green agenda and also don’t like men in women’s sports and kids having their breasts and genitalia mutilated without parental consent.

Musk's anger at the BBB is that the mandate for electric vehicles was removed.

Musk, during the previous administrations, went to all the auto manufacturers and
convinced them that they need to start producing electric vehicles. Not because
of Tulsa, that was a smoke screen. Rather, it was because Musk bought all the power
stations that would be needed to supply recharging of electric vehicles. In other words,
Musk would own the electrical infrastructure of the nation. The removal of the mandate
went against his personal goals.
