Why Catholic can never scatter someone’s ashes when they die.

Sorry Father.

I live closer to the North Pole then the Equator and I know how cold that ground is. I know cold well, I've been hypothermic.

It's brutal. I won't do it forever just because you want to perform a corporal act of mercy.

"Burn my body in the broad daylight and scatter my ashes in the dead of night."

That's the way we do things, where the Northern Breeze blows free in the trees.

PS:

Get off of X. It's a cesspool of neo-NAZI crude.

My cousin, who sadly took his life at 15 in 2006 and had a Catholic funeral, had his ashes scattered in Wyoming or Colorado. He would have been 35 today.

(Neither of his parents attend Mass any longer).

Personally? I'd rather be wrapped in a shroud, without embalming, and buried directly into the ground.

Let the worms and grubs feast on me!

That's the way really.

You borrowed these resources from the universe. Best to give them back.

Yes. That’s my perspective too.

On the other hand, I agree with Orthodox Jews and Muslims as cremation and embalming being violent because the body was created in the image of God.

My opinion only
