What am I supposed to see here? I see a community responding to a bunch of armed, masked thugs behaving like a violent gang.

Their wish appears to be to obstruct federal law enforcement and incite citizens to be their vigilante militia of obstruction. The more they obstruct the law, the more law enforcement they'll encounter.

I find it amusing that Americans boast they own guns and that this protects them against authoritarian federal government. But when federal government forces its will upon local people, the same people cheer it and are against any obstructions.

That's because the will of those local people supporting law enforcement is to have illegal aliens removed.

I found that Americans are in majority very partisan. And they do not care about principles, about right or wrong, as long as "their own" are in power.

The need for border control and deportation was reasonably bipartisan. Clinton and Obama give speeches in favor of deportation and they applauded. So this newfound moral outrage looks manufactured.

I do not think it looks manufactured. It simply looks that politicians actually did not ask the communities what they think about it. And now they found out.

Immigrants can be a problem in some specific places, but needed and wanted in other places. Forced general deportations everywhere does not seem to take this into consideration.

The Biden administration was authoritarian, violating laws in an effort to gain control over the people and create a one-party system. The people rebelled and elected Trump. Now the laws are being enforced, the two-tiered justice system has been eliminated, and the radical left, losing control, is resorting to violence.

Border control and immigration are federal matters, not community matters.

Which says nothing about what is right and what is wrong. And guess what - most probably all sides will be right in something and wrong in something else. That is why dialog is needed and multiparty system is better than two party system.

And tons of checks and balances. Not a concentrated power on one side.
