And if there was a “list”, it would be totally irresponsible for the FBI or DOJ to release it to the public without gathering enough evidence on each "client" for a solid conviction. That would result in potentially innocent people being falsely accuse of pedophilia by a braindead public, and their names unjustly tarnished forever, just because their names were on a list belonging to a known pedophile.

You are correct and its really my fault for giving credence to the chatter I hear from various Trump-hopeful people. I will endeavor to do better next time.

“But I’m bound by confidentiality from a judge and cases, and I can’t disclose what I know,” he added, noting at one point he was falsely named as a client.

“I know the names of people whose files are being suppressed in order to protect them, and that’s wrong,” he told Sean Spicer on Thursday.

Misleading headline.. Dershowitz said he's seen "the names of [some of] the individuals" but never mentioned a "list" as the title states.

Scoop: FBI's Dan Bongino clashes with AG Bondi over handling of Epstein files

Bongino didn't come to work Friday, leading some insiders to believe he had quit. But administration officials say he's still on the job, even as the internal tension over the Epstein case continues.
A source close to Bongino, though, said "he ain't coming back."
At different times, Bondi, Bongino and Patel each have complained to others that they were being unfairly blamed for the Epstein flap and hung out to dry.

As the article notes, the crux may have to do with the 'missing minute' in the video of Epstein's jail when the camera reboots at midnight.

'Footage was modified': New Epstein questions raised as Wired reveals video edit

Wired's Dhruv Mehrotra wrote that the video appears to have come from two sources and, "Metadata embedded in the video and analyzed by WIRED and independent video forensics experts shows that rather than being a direct export from the prison’s surveillance system, the footage was modified, likely using the professional editing tool Adobe Premiere Pro."

Wired's Mehrotra urged caution in jumping to conclusions, writing, "The video may have simply been processed for public release using available software, with no modifications beyond stitching together two clips. But the absence of a clear explanation for the processing of the file using professional editing software complicates the Justice Department’s narrative. In a case already clouded by suspicion, the ambiguity surrounding how the file was processed is likely to provide fresh fodder for conspiracy theories."

If the administration presented it as an unedited clip, then someone is lying. If not, it's merely evidence that there is no way to tell if there was evidence edited out of the clip, nor is that proof that the edited material was done to hide something.

But it does show that the video cannot be used as proof that Epstein was not murdered. If he was not murdered, it was profoundly stupid of someone to have edited the video.

Deputy Director Dan Bongino says the tape will definitively show the disgraced financier died by suicide without outside involvement.
It is currently being enhanced for clarity and will be published alongside the unedited original.

Assuming that I wasn't part of that, of course. Trump keeps promising to release them, but for some reason, his people are now denying that they even exist. Very puzzling...

Problem is, Bondi sees herself as President Trump's personal lawyer, and she isn't about to release the Epstein list of supposed pedophiles, even changing her story to deny it exists.

Bongino has no such personal loyalty, and feels more responsible to the MAGA base that he pandered to in his former job. And MAGA wants to see that list.
