White House Press Secretary Leavitt suggests 'spiritual warfare', not AT&T, interfered with Trump phone call with faith leaders

She commented, “There is spiritual warfare as we all know. It tried to break up our call today, as the president even alluded to.”

[As for the President...]
"I’m doing a major Conference Call with Faith Leaders from all over the Country, and AT&T is totally unable to make their equipment work properly. This is the second time it’s happened. If the Boss of AT&T, whoever that may be, could get involved — It would be good. There are tens of thousands of people on the line!" Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Monday afternoon.

I'm impressed that a conference call could happen with 10,000 people. (AP tells me that the call did eventually happen, just 20 minutes late.)

If the president really were to convene a group of faith leaders from a diversity of perspectives to advise him, that could be a good thing. Our Presiding Bishop would have some things to say, for example. If he's just gathered a group of people who already agree with him and is holding an online rally, that's a different thing. The coverage I found didn't list the participants.

As to the involvement of angelic or demonic forces, I'm sure I can't say. Sometimes a tech glitch is just a tech glitch.

I am not under the impression that our President considers Episcopal Bishops to be "faith leaders" :)

I'm really sorry. Maybe someday in the future some faith leader will break through the barriers of egotism and greed and help him understand he is not the only person on the planet, to whom much is given much is expected, and he has a massive debt payable on receipt to the human race.
Another missed opportunity.

Are you acknowledging the fact of spiritual warfare? That might be a first......
