They’re not picking on him. He should have never been allowed to compete in female sports to begin with. And yes, they should be compliant because it’s only fair to the female athletes.

You believe schools need to be compliant with the president's views? Like, at all times?

What about when there's a new president with totally different views on the matter? Can and should a democratic president use the same coercive tactics to pummel the schools back into following a liberal viewpoint or do you believe they (the schools) should have some independence from the whims of the president? Think broader than just trans athletes. A president could do this for just about anything he believes a school should be doing. Would you be ok with that when it's a president you don't like and don't agree with?

Have men ever been in a ladies' restroom? Every one goes into a stall to relieve themselves, and they lock the stall door. No one is disrobing.

I go to a gym every day and have never seen a woman I'd suspect of being transgender in a locker room, but there are a few private booths where they could change, and all the showers have curtains.

If I did see a transgender woman in a restroom or locker room, I would feel sympathetic rather than judgmental. I'd know that such a decision was fraught with difficulties and that the degree of pain they suffered in their birth gender must have been unendurable.

So no, I don't see it as a victory for women.

That has nothing to do with sports. William Thomas did poorly in men's swimming. Lia Thomas however excelled in women's swimming. That's because being a biological male Thomas had superior upper body strength compared to the best female swimmers.

Which means a biological male who's a lousy swimmer can easily beat out excellent female swimmers. And that is unfair to women athletes. The same goes for several other types of sports.

No matter what one's political leaning is, that is a stone cold fact.

No biological woman is competing in men’s sports. I wonder why?
