Under the terms of “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” the stated policy is to “oppose male competitive participation in women’s sports more broadly, as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.” The “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism” order directs the Department of Education to enforce Title IX based on biological sex, threatening to withhold federal funding from educational institutions that allow transgender women to compete in women’s sports. If the Department of Education is dismantled, other agencies will take over.
UPenn must also ban men from participating in women’s sporting activities and from occupying female athletic facilities such as locker rooms. This means no more men undressing themselves in front of unsuspecting women.

Making America great again.

The women athletes I've seen have differing attitudes about the participation of trans women on their teams. Instead of calling it a "big win for women," perhaps it would be better to say "big win for evangelical Christians" who oppose transgender rights.

Have men ever been in a ladies' restroom? Every one goes into a stall to relieve themselves, and they lock the stall door. No one is disrobing.

I go to a gym every day and have never seen a woman I'd suspect of being transgender in a locker room, but there are a few private booths where they could change, and all the showers have curtains.

If I did see a transgender woman in a restroom or locker room, I would feel sympathetic rather than judgmental. I'd know that such a decision was fraught with difficulties and that the degree of pain they suffered in their birth gender must have been unendurable.

So no, I don't see it as a victory for women.

I praise the Lord for this victory in which over 80% of Americans believe that biological males should not be competing in women's sports.

What is with the near obsession with trans people and this administration?
We are protecting biological females from biological males with gender dysphoria. Males who want to compete in women's sports.

Well it seems obsessive at this point. Like my goodness, find another group to pick on.

We are not picking on anyone. Instead, we are protecting girls and women in women’s sports.

Against some of their wishes. The patriarchy strikes again.

We are not picking on anyone.
This administration is singling out a person who never committed any crime and punishing an entire school for it. That’s bullying.

It's not. They just want to keep things fair for the girls who worked so hard. That's FAR from bullying.

What is it with the obsession with rhe left to allow men into women's spaces and competitions? Its really strange.

No. Just no. Plenty of people, regardless of religion, don't think biological males belong in female sports. It's not just Christians.

No. It is not bullying. It is protecting the rights of girls and women to compete safely and fairly in women’s sports. Why is that difficult to accept or understand?
