Do many others here pray the Divine Office? Since most of us are not in religious community we re pretty much on our own with it in the midst of busy secular life. For me it has been foundational. There are dats when I do not pray it. Sometimes only a part of it. Sometimes only a psalm. and other days when I do every hour. Bit no matter what I knw it is there and a resource I can always turn to. I especially appreciate that it is the prayer of the entire Church. That solidarity makes it even better.

There are at least two on-line options with apps.

The Universalis has language choices including Latin.

I used to do it in the past at home and had a few opportunities with a community of nuns at the monastery. It was a useful practice at the time and can be helpful in establishing daily prayer habits and learning scripture. There’s a protestant variation that’s accessible through Phylis Tickle’s writings or The Church of England site/app. And there’s a similar practice in Judaism as well. I’ve done them all.

I did with my priest, deacon and a few others. Never got into the habit though.

I did when I was in college. There was a monastery attached.

I try to pray the Book of Common Prayer's compline, and I did the readings.

I also used the Universalis app from Laudate on my iPhone.
