Sorry the x link is not too informative. Why would the USA deport murderers? Seems to me they need to serve their time or be extradited if their crimes were committed in another nation. If they served their sentences then yes they can be deported with due process. I will say it is a shame that many want to do away with due process, but that is not ICE's or Trump's job to decide the legality of deportation. It is left to the Federal Court and judges make that determination at the District Level. Appeals can then be made if the District judge rules wrongly. Also if the District Courts are acting too powerful then yes they too can have their powers appealed to higher courts. So one has to have patience to see this through. Another way to expedite deportations is to get the deportees in front of judges faster. So hiring more judges is an avenue that could be explored.
In order to definitively confirm the truth of this specific claim, one would need to investigate the court cases Schmitt is referencing, including the judge's ruling, the crimes of the individuals involved, and any Supreme Court rulings that were allegedly defied.
