The problem with Iran isn't going to go away in a hurry. I remember my father saying the CIA ousted the democratically elected leader of Iran. The Iranians won't have forgotten it.

I remember a comment by my old (actually I'm older now than he was) rather prophetic Presbyterian (ex-Methodist) pastor - "Suppose an Arab statesman does a bit of fence building with his Arab mates. Then he says to the West 'Right boys, either you get Israel out of there, or we turn off the taps' (oil). We'd all be broke in a week!"
I think there's more chance of that happening than outright war with the West which the Arabs know they could not win. Iraq was beaten soundly twice in the last thirty five years.
Although I don't think the Iranians see themselves as Arabs, and vice versa so it may take a bit longer than I think.
He certainly didn't hold any sanguine hopes about peace between Israel and the Palestinians, commenting (hyperbolically) "That's going to be a problem for the next three hundred years!"
I'll be keeping an eye out for potential Arab statesmen.

and have been enemies of Iran, which is Shiite, for a long time.
Perhaps Trump will now get the Abraham Accords signed and passed. Iran opposes the
Abraham accords because it makes peace between Israel and the Arab nations. Iran
gave support to Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis in opposition to the Abraham
Accords.

FYI, President Obama bombed over 2700 sites during his presidency without ever going to
Congress. He got support from Senate Democrats, who now oppose Trump's action against
Iran,
