Israel doesn't have enough interceptors to sustain a missile barrage from Iran. The US has been helping but at some point, it will depend on the US (or not), and the US has a limited capacity. In my opinion, the one who starts it also has to count the cost. If Israel can't continue to intercept missiles, then too bad for them. Maybe once they feel the pain of war, they will stop war.

The iron dome wasn’t designed to stop the missiles Iran is using. That‘s why they need help shooting them down. What no one is admitting is the historical precedent that others have acknowledged. No one has ever won a war by airpower and the navy alone. They’re not going to change the regime without boots on the ground and they know it. I’m keeping my eyes on China and Russia.

Iran is being assisted by both and more supplies arrived on Friday and they have quite the stockpile. Analysts were estimating they could last a year or two without stopping during the proxy skirmishes. We’re not operating facilities around the clock to do the same. But Russia is and I believe China does as well. They also have support from North Korea. Remember those tunnels we heard about two years ago? Where do you think they got it from? NK.

It's not about them, they can be awful people.
as I mention in the other thread, I do not believe they were chosen because they're such wonderful people, far from it.

but it's about siding with God on an issue, even if my human sensibilities don't like it.

Have you prayed at all on this and received a word from the Lord? Has He actually told you in the here and now that you should support the battle between them and Iran? I don’t believe He did and I think you’re applying the scripture broadly without discrimination to make the narrative fit.

No one can do as they please without judgment including them. Turning a blind eye to their sins won’t earn you anything from the Lord. It’s a dead work. But don’t take my word for it. Put Him to the test. Take your position and lay it on the altar and remind Him what He said and make your petition and see what happens.

I wouldn’t make the suggestion if I hadn’t done the same. I wrote a post last year about Diddy after Cassie’s lawsuit came out and allegations began to surface. We asked for justice and judgment for the victims and prayed against his behavior and that’s underway and he’s on trial. That‘s what we’re meant to do as ambassadors of faith. We don’t support oppressors.

When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, every hidden and secret thing, whether it is good or evil.

Case B: Putin.

Putin’s approach is to massage Trump’s ego and his disdain for multilateralism and a distrust of NATO and the EU.

Putin’s aide and Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova calls Donald Trump the first U.S. leader in decades to “tell Americans the truth.” This comes after Trump rejected Putin’s mediation offer in the Israel-Iran war.

Then he called all three. ~lol

As Iran intensifies its attacks on Israel, Russian President Vladimir Putin has emerged as a central diplomatic actor, engaging directly with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, and former U.S. President Donald Trump.

If they run short congress will hop to and resupply with those who dare oppose it being branded antisemites.

Sadly, you're probably right.

The US and Europe are saying two weeks for diplomacy. I guess they’ll have to fight it out as Trump said earlier.

In 2016, two months before he was first elected president, Donald Trump identified the real problem with America’s invasion of Iraq. It wasn’t that it caused hundreds of thousands of deaths, destabilized the Middle East, and did nothing to make the United States safer. The real problem, he said during a candidate forum alongside Hillary Clinton, was that the U.S. footed the bill and got zero return on its investment. “We go in, we spend $3 trillion, we lose thousands and thousands of lives, and then ... what happens is we get nothing,” he said. “You know, it used to be to the victor belong the spoils.… I always said take the oil.

He reiterated this the other day while speaking about Iran.

There will be judgement. 2/3 die.

But a remnant will be saved.

as to a word from the Lord? Yes.

The divide on Israel sifts out the Church, the support of Israel is why after Satan cannot wipe out the Jews, Christians are turned on. It is in Revelation 12. The entire world turns on Israel, including the US, and those who stay supporting it are who the world feels justified in persecuting and killing. Because they believe the Word of God.
It is also ultimately bad for the nations that turn on Israel.

You’ve neglected to answer the question. Nor does that address the current situation. If they exterminate the Palestinian’s will you say the same? Do you have a line at all?

Frankly, they were commanded to exterminate the Canaanites, from whom the Palestinians are descended thousands of years ago.
They were to make no league with them, or it would be a snare to Israel.
Because the Israelites thousands of years ago did not fulfill God's commands, the descendants have been a snare for thousands of years.

the book of Obadiah finally answers the whole question, after the Day of the Lord. Not one descendant of Esau will remain.

Joshua is a hard read, and that part of Obadiah, is a hard read, it is a hard read because of human sensibilities want to say it is wrong. But God has judged it thus, and so we must trust that He is right on it.

as for Iran, it was once known as Elam. Jeremiah 49 has the bow of Elam broken, and its people scattered.
Damascus will be totally destroyed, the oldest continually dwelled city on Earth. It has never been totally destroyed in the past, but it will in the future.
Not every action of God is puppy dogs and rainbows.

You can’t make this up...

Palestine Action have damaged two military planes at RAF Brize Norton, where flights leave daily for RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, a base used for military operations in Gaza and across the Middle East. Two activists broke into the largest air force base in Britain and used electric scooters to swiftly manoeuvre towards the planes. They used repurposed fire extinguishers to spray red paint into the turbine engines of two Airbus Voyagers and caused further damage using crowbars. Red paint, symbolising Palestinian bloodshed was also sprayed across the runway and a Palestine flag was left on the scene. Both activists managed to evade security and arrest.

The targeted planes are Airbus Voyagers, which can carry military cargo and are used to refuel Israeli/US/UK military aircrafts and fighter jets. From the military base, Airbus Atlas flights also travel to RAF Akrotiri. Atlas flights can carry soldiers, guns, ammunition, bombs and munitions. The British military have flown Atlas flights from Akrotiri to Tel Aviv, carrying soldiers and/or military cargo.

What are the chances this is the end of our involvement? :(
Pretty close to zero. At a minimum, I expect Iran and/or its proxies to attack US assets in the Persian Gulf region, and there will also be a potential for terror attacks here in the US which will require additional responses to Iran. In a worst-case scenario, this could expand into a wider regional war that lasts for several years.
