One would have to be a fool to voluntarily refrain from using the types of weapons that their adversaries would gleefully use against them.

Yeah. It's enough to refrain from all the crimes against humanity russia is spamming like they are cheat codes. They turn public perception and serve no purpose.

Good, I wasn't a fan of the decision when Halonen pushed for it because I doubted the ability to field anything else to fill the gap the use of personnel mines left.
Though as a supplement, I am hopeful the Steel Eagle drone (ER and regular version) will be picked up the military, that thing frightens me from an infantry perspective.

If Russia liked what Ukraine did to defend themselves on relatively open terrain with a faltering economy and eight years notice then they'll love what the Finns will do with a first-world economy, terrain that's virtually impassable and eighty years looking eastwards.
