Given that the guy put together a fake police car and uniform, he'd have been planning this for weeks. The recent votes almost certainly had nothing to do with it.

Does it matter? No one is interested in reality anymore, just their own politics. Selfishness abounds. Its a shame people even involve themselves considering they are expected to take sides yet the representation is not for the people but the influential. Divisiveness gives the impression people are involved but all that is happening is the nation is fragmenting and destroying itself from within. Your time in the limelight is over just like all those before you. There is a new player in town far smarter than governments of the world or their leaders have ever been.

It matters because there’s an increase in political violence. The numbers have been rising for a while. You can see the hostility in this realm as with other divisive subjects that can easily lead to doxxing or something worse.

That’s a hard pill for most to follow. I don’t understand it myself. But I think what helped with my mindset is having parents who rarely discussed politics and studying economics in school before I went to college. It opened my eyes to a lot as did other experiences. And I saw inequity up close. I had a hard time believing in the american dream when I saw people with a lot of wealth that was well beyond the average salary and how their lives were impacted.

I see the fractures too and feel many will be left behind. And a lot of christians are in that group.
