Care to see the video; as what I'm trying to ask about, is why Gerald doesn't explain what Lev 23:11-21 is? What the day of focus is?Actually, in addition to the Sabbath, there were seven holy seasons (feasts), which included seven Sabbaths (not necessarily on Saturday) and three harvest feasts:
1) Passover
2) Unleavened Bread
3) Firstfruits
4) Feast of Weeks
5) Feast of Trumpets
6) Day of Atonement
7) Feast of Tabernacles
They are both Feasts of Harvest:Care to see the video; as what I'm trying to ask about, is why Gerald doesn't explain what Lev 23:11-21 is? What the day of focus is?
And Yes; "God" always works in 7s.
Why doesn't Gerald, talk about Lev 23:11?They are both Feasts of Harvest:
1) Firstfruits - barley harvest in the spring (Lev 9:23-14),
2) Feast of Weeks - wheat harvest in the summer (Lev 9:15-22), firstfruits, (Ex 23:16)
I'm thinkin' you need to ask Gerald. Why doesn't Gerald, talk about Lev 23:11?
In an earlier video; he denies Sunday.I'm thinkin' you need to ask Gerald.
Maybe he does in one of the other offerings where it occurs: peace offering and ordination.
It seems there were two wavings of the barley sheaf--one on the Sabbath by the Israelite and one on the day after the Sabbath by the priest. The day after by the priest did not apply until Canaan. In an earlier video; he denies Sunday.
Can you and I agree that Lev 23:11 does mean Sunday is biblical?
Gerald thinks Sunday is Constantine.
Sunday isn't Constantine. Do we agree?
I would so love; for you to answer my actual question ....I WouIt seems there were two wavings of the barley sheaf--one on the Sabbath by the Israelite and one on the day after the Sabbath by the priest. The day after by the priest did not apply until Canaan.
If the Sabbath is on Saturday. In an earlier video; he denies Sunday.
Can you and I agree that Lev 23:11 does mean Sunday is biblical?
Why not both?Gerald thinks Sunday is Constantine.
Sunday isn't Constantine. Do we agree?
I don't see where 1 Corinthians 16:2 says anything about meeting on the first day of the week. And we have how the disciples met "on the first day of the week", which would be the day after the Saturday Sabbath.
Acts 20:7
Also we have 1 Corinthians 16:2.
This is true. But if someone is to lay aside a gift on the first day, this could be because the first day is for special activity . . . including also meeting. That's what I was thinking, anyway.I don't see where 1 Corinthians 16:2 says anything about meeting on the first day of the week.
