  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone, I would greatly appreciate your prayers- I need joy! I do not have joy, I have never had it, I had it for about 5 minutes right after I got saved and then it left, it has never been back since. There must be a very good reason why I do not have it, I have been seeking God as to why but no reply thus far. The bible says the joy of the Lord is your strength and I lack strength! I do not have the peace of God either. Please pray for joy! Thank you!

Father God, I pray for @Dave Darling
Please give Him joy and strength that coming from You. I pray that he will seek You and find You, bring him to a community of believers so he can experience Your love and care through our brothers and sisters in faith.

This is odd- I was at the healing meeting at one church I frequent the other night and I got pray for joy, they prayed for me and instantly I felt something well up inside of me, I think it was joy, however I did not feel good at all, in fact I felt terrible! This has happened several times now, where I experienced joy but felt terrible! There is something wrong! Twice in my life I experienced joy but felt good, fantastic, but that was it, other than that I do not feel good at all. It is a mystery why this is happening!
