Chicago style pizza?I hear he's a Sox fan, not a Cubs fan
Drinks beer, Old Style perhaps?
I wonder if he likes a Chicago dog?
LOL!Chicago style pizza?
Yes, pizza from Aurelios in Homewood, IL., a very popular spot just 5 miles down the road from here. Arguably, it has the best pizza in da region. I have to try their Pope-A-Roni pizza next time I'm there.Chicago style pizza?
When you try the Pope-A-Roni, let is know. Take a pic of the pizza if you remember.Yes, pizza from Aurelios in Homewood, IL., a very popular spot just 5 miles down the road from here. Arguably, it has the best pizza in da region. I have to try their Pope-A-Roni pizza next time I'm there.

Elwood Blues: No, ma'am, we're musicians ... We're on a mission from God.

He probably calls soda "pop" like I do, as a native midwesterner.I hear he's a Sox fan, not a Cubs fan

I had some hope that cardinal Pizzabala would be elected pope, choose the name pope John XXIV, and be known as Papa John. Instead we get Chicago style pizza. I guess that's a fair trade.Yes, pizza from Aurelios in Homewood, IL., a very popular spot just 5 miles down the road from here. Arguably, it has the best pizza in da region. In a certain picture, the Pope reminds me of someone who went to high school with me, lol.I know someone whose husband looks like Pope Leo in a picture of him.
With all due respect, as an Australian, I'd rather have a meat pie. Apparently Pope Leo has been here a few times, so I suppose he can try a meat pie with peas next time and tomato sauce (not ketchup). The best Chicago popabilia I've seen this week is a T-shirt with the pope holding a hot dog in one hand and a stone tablet in the other. The tablet reads:
Thou shalt not
put ketchup
on thy hot dog.
EDIT: a word of explanation for those not familiar with THE Chicago Hot Dog:
A proper Chicago dog is an all-beef frankfurter (such as Vienna Beef) in a poppy seed bun, topped with yellow mustard, neon-green sweet pickle relish, chopped white onion, tomato slices, a dill pickle spear, pickled sport peppers and celery salt, but NEVER ketchup.

The Sydney Morning Herald - "That includes at least four known visits to Australia, where he developed a great love of Tim Tams and a hatred of Vegemite. Sydney Archbishop Anthony Fisher said it was “very likely” the newly elected Pope would visit Australia".2 days ago
