Earned but not given on it.
Even if Jesus in doing things that seemed baffled to
Both friends and foes alike.
In particular the Pharisees and Romans
Who saw Him as a huge threat.

Earning respect is about action that becomes
Productive, accountable, and going the extra
Mile and how being liked without the respect
Can go away in a heartbeat and
Jesus earned both the respect and trust of the
Disciples despite the latter twelve disciples
Journeying with them for those three years in
Understanding and Jesus didn't expect them to
Really understand but also they see Jesus in so many ways.
As a teacher, a big brother, a father figure to the
Younger disciples, and one with love and patience.
Just to name a few along with the King of Kings
The Lord of Lords when He died and rose and ascended into heaven.

But also sadly they may not
Had accepted Him as Savior and Lord
As they wanted the miracles and believing in that
Not believing in the miracle worker of all miracle workers.
Sadly it didn't lead to others accepting Him
Despite seeing Jesus as God in the flesh.
