Pauline Lee is the daughter of immigrants who came to the United States as teenagers, with nothing.

"When they came here they were dirt poor," she recalled.

They worked entry-level jobs at first, before they both went on to study and build successful careers in California.

Lee is proud of her family's immigration stories — and the fact that they came to the U.S. legally.

"Illegal immigration is, for me, one of the biggest problems, because you're also giving these illegal immigrants a lot of our resources that should be retained for our own Americans," she said. "That's a real problem."

This is a strong reason against Biden's immigration policy and resentment, including my wife.

"Illegal immigration is, for me, one of the biggest problems, because you're also giving these illegal immigrants a lot of our resources that should be retained for our own Americans," she said. "That's a real problem."

ICE is doing stupid stuff, I can relate to what May is saying.

But for some Asian Americans here, uncertainty around Trump's deportation policy is causing fear.

At an Asian cultural festival in Las Vegas recently, a woman named May — a naturalized citizen who was born in the Philippines — says Trump's efforts to do away with birthright citizenship worry her.

"I'm like, will I be next … you know what I mean?" she asked.

I notice that it's not breaking the law that bothers Donald Trump. He pardoned all sorts of criminals who attacked the Capitol, and rescued a man who was trafficking women, bringing him safely home to the U.S. It's people he doesn't like, coming to America. The legality isn't of much concern to him.

On 27 February, the Tate brothers got on a private jet and flew from Romania back to America. Their release seems to have come courtesy of Donald Trump, whose allies and administration officials have advocated for the brothers privately and publicly.

It’s hard to understand what Trump hopes to gain. Andrew Tate is primarily famous for being a misogynist influencer, radicalising scores of young men to embrace a kind of violent porno fantasy of masculinity, where men are made tough by abusing and dominating women. This is, of course, a masculinity for the deeply insecure, a characteristic Tate and Trump share. But it’s also a masculinity gaining prominence within the Republican Party.

I don't think that's much of an excuse for you. He clearly wants them in jail. He says he can deport American citizens. If you don't get that, I don't think there's much that could be done to help you.

Anyway, Biden thwarted his intentions, and that's how it is. Trump did it too, pardoning rioters who assaulted police and a human trafficker who was charged with sexually abusing a minor. Same purpose, just different kinds of people.

The Biden pardons? Those are obviously admittance of guilt, because it specifies the range of dates the pardoned crime(s) were supposedly committed. Anybody with common sense would have been thinking already.

Given his history of vindictiveness, Biden just chose to cut him off from revenge on any of the people he's perceived as enemies.
