CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

However, unofficially, this might be more about US-SK relations than the Trump Organization seeking to make hay while the sun is shining:

An industry source, who requested anonymity, said, “Key topics likely included trade challenges such as tariffs, as well as ways to boost bilateral investment and economic cooperation (between the US and Korea).”

The source further speculated, “Given the US interest in Korea’s IT and shipbuilding industries, discussions may have touched on potential areas for negotiation and collaboration.”​

If the senior Trump is facilitating the junior Trump's business dealings, then he is also promoting his own.

Now imagine that Neil Bush with his foreign entanglements had been the custodial trustee of his brother's assets during this time and the picture comes into focus.

Ok, I see too that "Trump’s 53% ownership stake in the company, now in a trust controlled by his oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., rose by $415 million on the day." That was the day on Truth Social that Trump said to buy. Trump told investors to 'buy' on social media hours before his tariff pause rose stocks, raising questions about manipulation

They barely try to disguise or hide the corruption anymore. Why even bother when they control the prosecutors (thanks, Bondi!) and are increasingly dismissive of the judges?

It is a bit premature to know the legality or even if Trump personally benefitted. It is very interesting though.
