Maybe putting a TV host in charge of the military wasn't such a bright idea. Kind of like electing one with 34 felony convictions to be president. Just a smidge over 100 days. Long way to go... hold on to your butts!

Oh, wait a minute...

This rollercoaster changes directions fast.

We should place bets on how long this will go before Pete finally gets the boot and the over\under on administration denials that it will happen

I bet they are, even though they deny it. The dude is nuttin' up left and right. I wager 100000 blessing points that he's going to be fired.
But Trump already doubled down.

I thinks Pete is doing a good job. No worse than putting a former President’s wife in charge of the State Dept right? And she caused the deaths of 4 embassy officials in Benghazi when she failed to send help when they asked for it while staring at a pending terrorist attack that took their lives a couple days later.
Or how about an actual former 4 star general (Austin) who allowed lace secure procedures and a sloppy and cowardly withdrawal in Afghanistan that cost the lives of 13 us Service members. I’m not sure we should hone in on Pete’s misstep that costs no lives when the 2 I cited cost 17 and zero accountability happened.

LOL, yeah okay. Keep beating that worn out drum. Benghazi! Benghazi! Buttery males!! Clinton is more qualified in her pinky fingernail than pretty much any of the convicted-felon-in-chiefs picks. That's a dull blade you're swinging there, bro.

Dude's only been there 100 days. I'm sure on the trajectory he's on he'd end up costing lives with his incompetence if he hasn't already indirectly along with this incompetent, criminal administration, but hopefully he wont get the chance.

Yeah, that's how most news works. They have sources which they don't name. If you don't make the same criticisms of Fox, newsmax and other right wing "news" sites that also use sources and anonymous sources to report on stories you find credible (which is know that you do not because you have posted such stories minus those criticisms) then you have no room to make the criticism here with any credibility.

And also, NPR isn't the only news site reporting this so maybe get out of your bubble.

Kind of like beating the "criminals are flooding our country!!" drum while voting for a convicted felon for president. ZERO credibility.

Let's all just sit back and see what happens, shall we. Did you wanna place a bet?

Hillary Clinton was the most under qualified Secretary of State in the past 50 years. She was a failure in multiple different decisions and actions.

For ol' Pete, he's only been in office for 86 days (about a week less than Trump). The record for shortest tenure for a confirmed (non-acting) SECDEF is 114 days (4 more weeks, I don't thing Hegseth can last that long) by Elliot Richardson. Richardson did that between stints as Sec of Health, Education, and Welfare (what HHS + E.D. were called before splitting) and his nearly as short term of 5 months as Attorney General (none shorter since) that ended in the infamous "Saturday Night Massacre".

This article attempts to at least try to be fair and balanced. However, I will not trust any criticisms from an unnamed source or an unnamed advisor.

Any bets on his replacement? Who is next up on the Fox and Friends bench?
My bet is that Pete Hegseth ain't going to be replaced any time soon.

As long as he is loyal to Trump, he can bungle things up as much as he wants.
I disagree because in Trump's first term, he did fire several cabinet secretaries.

That's not how Trump seems to be doing things today. Not a single firing of substance. There was one at the start, but it got reversed after a twitter poll, I think.
