  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, a member of the far-left group of progressive lawmakers known as "the Squad," told congregants at a historically Black church that America needs robust immigration because "we done picking cotton."

Crockett, who represents Texas's 30th Congressional District, made the remarks during Connecticut-based Grace Baptist Church's 125th anniversary celebration held over the weekend. The comments were part of Crockett's broader attempt to slam the Trump administration for cracking down on illegal immigration.

"So I had to go around the country and educate people about what immigrants do for this country, or the fact that we are a country of immigrants. The fact is ain’t none of y’all trying to go and farm right now," Crockett said, garnering a sheepish laugh from a few members of the audience.

In my opinion, Rep. Jasmine Crockett wants to become one of the primary leaders in the Democratic Party. I say, go ahead and go for it, Congresswoman Crockett. The more you speak, the more Americans will realize just how radical you really are.

Agreed. I have no words. Her comment is beyond embarrassing.

Well I did my research & today most agriculture is mechanized. There may be some hanging fruit crops picked by hand but most ag today is mechanized. When the left uses this excuse--that we the people are so dependent on a subservient class of people to do such tasks--it really suggests slavery. Well it certainly would be slave wages. That would be a modern day equivalent. So the Democrats, the party that facilitated slavery, really can't get away from their roots. Here is an example that is so two-faced. We need these people. Really you want them to work for peanuts.

It's true that immigrants are saving us from the disaster now coming about in Russia, China, and Japan.

The United States Has a Keen Demographic Edge

Competitors of the United States face plunging birthrates and social gloom.
