• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No hope, please pray

Could you please pray for our brother Alexander?

He has served the Lord Jesus internationally for many years.

Unfortunately, he has an unknown eye disease that is not (yet) officially recognized and is almost blind.

As a result, he cannot work and lives on unemployment benefits and is also in constant poverty.

He numbs himself with cannabis and alcohol and spends more time with people who are not good for him than with brothers and sisters, and he is without hope.

His wish is to finally be taken "seriously."

"Even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me." Psalm 23:4

Thank you for your prayers!

May the Lord bless you abundantly (Luke 6:38, Job 42:10) and bless Israel in Jesus' name. Amen!

Soli Deo Gloria

PS And I pray that the Lord will send out harvesters into his harvest (Matthew 9:38).

Dear Lord,
I pray for healing and restoration for one of Your children, whom You have inflicted with a trial. Satan is on the verge of taking them out! Please show them the path You have for them to continue to glorify You, that their witness may be restored. Open their eyes of their heart and mind (if not their physical eyes, I do pray for healing!) to see Your purpose for their suffering, and do help them on their way.
In Christ’s Name,
Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift up Alexander to You right now. You know the burdens he carries and the quiet prayers in his heart. Wrap him in Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that You are his strength, his provider, and his ever-present help. Fill him with hope, restore his joy, and guide his every step. Let him feel Your love in a real and powerful way today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
