  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Other than to save the life of the mother, I will never support it.

It’s pure selfish and downright evil.

It stops a human heart.
That wasnt the question, though.

You don’t care that more than 60% of abortions happen outside of Planned Parenthood. You said you don’t care only 4% of what they do every year is an abortion. You said that 4% makes them evil. Well, I live in a state where there’s only one Planned Parenthood that provides abortions. The rest don’t. Abortions at my state are performed at two women’s clinics (one of which belongs to a major hospital) and our hospitals. Of the 2,000+ abortions in my state, all but 400 happened in a hospital or a clinic and not Planned Parenthood.

So, does that mean you hate hospitals and think hospitals are evil too? Or is the righteous “I don’t care if Dahmer only ate 3%” rant just selective outrage?

No. I never said that. I stated that Planned Parenthood is the single largest organization that provides abortion, and for that reason alone, I cannot support them. They disgust me. I’m disgusted by any organization that does or pudges for it. Don’t put words in my mouth.

Yes, because they’re a traditionally underserved population for basic health services and more likely to not receive basic care other segments of the population receive, thanks to generational poverty and systemic racism. It is truly evil, and a surprising admission of liberal ethos on your part.
I guess it is cheaper to kill a black baby before it is born than to spend the rest of it's life perpetuating the generational poverty that drains the welfare system. That doesn't sound racist at all.

Well, it’s a level one trauma center with one of the best maternity wards and cancer wards in the country, if not the world.
And one that murders unborn babies for profit. But as long as it follow a utilitarianism moral standard, it cannot be evil. Right?

I didn’t call you any names
I am fairly certain that "Jan" is a name that you have repetitively been calling members after they have repetitively asked that you stop.
