We don’t yet know what effect these cuts will have on the economy. Seems like wishful thinking to assume that just because he’s making cuts to public spending, he’s necessarily doing a good job.

So far, all we have from doge is thousands of layoffs all over the country. You tell me how that’s a good thing.

Cutting waste is a good thing, non-productive jobs should be eliminated. With the waste and corruption savings plus the money the tariffs bring in we are in good fiscal shape.

Sure, but how do we know what’s waste and what’s necessary? Again, how is his success with doge to be measured, quantified, verified?

That money from the tariffs is coming directly from Americans having to pay more for everyday things. It’s not magic, it’s a tax on every American consumer but promising to raise taxes on everyone doesn’t win elections.

No, from personal experience in dealing with corrupt federal organizations I can say that a number of Inspector Generals were rubber stamps for wrongdoing. Most of the public had no idea of the extent of the government corruption and waste.
