  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters

The nuns wear rose colored tunics with their habits.
Symbolizing their joy for the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes called the pink sisters.
How to rose-coloured tunics symbolise joy for the Holy Spirit? (Not criticising, just wondering.)

Thanks. I didn't know that.
If they are ever out of the convent/or in public (incredibly, incredibly rare) they wear grey.

Their entire lives is one of prayer.

At Pentecost the Holy Spirit was there
they began speaking new languages.

Women priests could write languages
in pink ink.

Women priests can represent the Holy Spirit.
Women can write using whatever colour ink they wish. So can men. What's your point?

Where do you find in the bible that any priest (man or woman) "represents the Holy Spirit?"

Pink also represents joy. It’s used midway through advent and lent, instead of the liturgical color of purple/violet.
