Age eventually catches up with everyone.

President Trump is approaching a similar position to where President Biden was in 2024. It is only a matter of time before President Trump may need to rely on staff and autopen, as President Biden did in 2024.

It also betrays a fundamental misunderstanding that members of congress generally have immunity based on their official actions while in office.
Trying to prosecute a legislator for “doing their job” only throws sand into the oil of the machinery of governance.

Trump once again exceeding his authority. Only the courts can declare if the pre-emptive pardons are legal and if the signature is legal. I would suggest though to arrest Fauci and see how it plays out.

Speaking of beating wives, this is how Rep. Nancy Mace can speak in the House chamber and accuse her ex-boyfriend of sexual abuse and not be sued for defamation.

The January 6 Committee did its job. It stood up for democracy while Trump and his sycophants tried to burn it down.

And now, because he can’t handle reality [of what Jan 6 was], Trump wants to puff out his chest and threaten the committee? Fine. Do it. Or shut up.

Let’s be crystal clear: this is a bluff. A desperate, weak, and ultimately meaningless bluff.

The truth is, Trump won’t actually follow through on this. He never follows through on anything that takes actual courage. It’s just another attempt to stoke fear, to look tough to his cultish followers while he cowers behind his endless grievances. If he actually had the guts to stand by his words, he wouldn’t be whining on social media about how unfair life is.
