The prophets of old foretold the days would come
When the world together will now be as one.
For many will come now claiming this or that,
And the people of God they will now combat.
There will be rumors of wars when kings arise,
When they fool the people now with their disguise.
But don’t be frightened, for this must surely be
That the world be living now in harmony.
For a beast is rising up out of the sea.
The people will follow his authority.
He’ll be speaking arrogance and blasphemies.
He’ll make war with saints of God, in Christ are free.
So all those who worship not our God above
Will worship the beast whom they have grown to love.
Anyone who’s destined for captivity
Will be taken captive and will not be free.
Up to tribulation we’ll delivered be
Hoping we will join them in their harmony.
Hated by the nations for our faith in Christ,
We’ll be persecuted and our throats they’ll slice.
Many who have fallen will betray their friends.
Saved will be the ones who will endure to end.
People’s love for others, it will now grow cold,
So share with the world the gospel, and be bold.
