CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So. Trump is using Jesus to deceive people. God's people are supposed to bring people to God. Not force God's law on everyone. If Trump was really Godly he would obey laws and not turn on good people. And get other people to betray good people.

Even Satan acknowledges Jesus Christ as the savior of the world and the Son of God; however, this acknowledgment alone is insignificant.
What is most important is asking for forgiveness from God. Other actions, such as recognizing God's power, feeding the poor, or giving away wealth, are considered secondary unless one personally repents and accepts Jesus Christ.
President Trump stated that he has never asked for God's forgiveness because he believes he has not done anything wrong.

You know what's gross and cringe? Seeing a picture of Jesus photoshopped standing next to Trump in prayer. Never have I wanted to throw up in my life as to seeing that.
