I meant sending people there so they stay gone without recourse.Well, it's supposed to be for the worst of the worst, not people without violent offenses.
You mean like how the January 6th protestors were held for four years without trial by the Biden "administration"? Gotcha."It's troubling enough that we are even sending immigrants from the U.S. to Guantanamo, but it's beyond the pale that we are holding them incommunicado, without access to attorneys, family or the outside world," said Lee Gelernt, and attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union.
Yes, since there's no problem with overcrowding in the U.S. prison system....Yeah it seems like overkill when they could just be held in federal prisons.

Well, for violent offenders---murderers, rapists, child molesters, sex traffickers, domestic abusers, armed robbers, gangbangers, dope pushers, etc., I for one am firmly in favor of using a rope to decorate telephone poles with them, frankly. And it doesn't matter if they're illegal aliens or American citizens. I suppose we could always blow the dust off Old Sparky, too, but electricity is expensive; rope works just as well, and it's a lot cheaper. Since there's so many of them, once this is done, the bodies could be processed into fertilizer and sold at a profit, with the proceeds being applied to the national debt.Threatening gang members with Guantanamo isn’t going to have any effect whatsoever because these people don’t care about consequences until they’re actually paying them. And they know that they better not show any fear of consequences whatsoever in front of their fellow members because they know they’ll either get beat to a pulp or beat to death. So you can’t intimidate these people with consequences because they’re just too stupid to care about them. They’re more worried about the consequences of not following orders that could result in them being killed as well as their entire family. So Trump’s consequences are never going to be as intimidating as the consequences of their own gang.

They could try putting to sea and landing on desolate spaces of American beach; or they could try tunning underneath the wall. Again, personally, I think we should just put a 25 to 30 mile-deep strip of land mines along the entire length of the border, just inside the wall. Stagger the mines randomly so they can't be found easily, but use plenty of them. These could be interspersed with concertina wire and even punji pits, if we want to get creative. So if you manage to get over the wall, good for you, but from there on, you're taking your chances. How could anyone sneak in after Trump built the wall?
Nope. Most of the very few who were held until trial were either violent offenders or sovereign buttheads who couldn't deal with the legal system like normal people. None at all were held incommunicado and without legal advice. You mean like how the January 6th protestors were held for four years without trial by the Biden "administration"?
I support the death penalty for extreme offenses but not all of the offenses you’ve mentioned here I would consider to be extreme cases. Paul murdered Christians but he was given the opportunity to repent and believe. When you execute a sinner you take away their ability to repent and seal their fate on the lake of fire. I don’t see that all of the offenses you’ve listed above warrant such an extreme punishment. You mean like how the January 6th protestors were held for four years without trial by the Biden "administration"? Try the Congressional Record or look up Stumblin' Joe's executive actions his first couple months in office.

As for the beaches, well, form citizen's patrols to keep constant watch. If they spot illegals rowing in, they can radio the Coast Guard and give the shore batteries something to shoot at. The sharks off the coasts of the United States would be the best-fed fish in the ocean.
Actually, I agree with you, up to a point; I think every offense should be judged on a case-by-case basis, and justice levied appropriately to the degree of the crime committed.I support the death penalty for extreme offenses but not all of the offenses you’ve mentioned here I would consider to be extreme cases. Now to watch every conservative always having been against it.Nevermind, it was another episode of Trump 2, The Beclowning.
US halts plan to house migrants in tents at Guantanamo amid concerns over conditions
The Trump administration has halted efforts to place migrants in tent structures built at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, amid concerns that the emerging facilities don’t meet detention standards because they lack air conditioning or electricity, a US official and a source familiar with the matter told CNN.
“There should have been a greater degree of planning before the execution. Now execution has begun, and everyone is trying to back into planning,” a source with knowledge of the situation previously told CNN.
It comes weeks after officials scrambled to set up additional housing for migrants at the controversial US base on the island — and only days after those on location were deported.
The Trump administration [originally] said it would be building out tent structures at Guantanamo Bay to house an anticipated 30,000 people transferred there from the southern border. But the sources said Monday that the tents don’t currently meet detention standards set by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Last week, more than 170 migrants at the naval base were flown to Venezuela, nearly emptying Guantanamo.
There are no migrants currently being housed at the MOC
Just think of the money we’ll be saving though!Nevermind, it was another episode of Trump 2, The Beclowning.

Like taking off shoes that are too tight. Such a relief to undo the counterproductive thing you did.Just think of the money we’ll be saving though!
