  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Do you think it's good to be thankful where you r born and live, like Jesus was thankful to live in Nazareth and was called "Nazarene"?

I think it is good to be thankful for whatever we can. Where we were born and live is a big part of who we are. Also the time period we are born into. Certain periods of time seem to be much more peaceful than others, though perhaps even in more hectic times (like a war or famine) there may have been things to be thankful for, that we that didn't live in that time or place aren't aware of.

BTW Chili is a beautiful country. I've always wanted to go to Torres del Paine National Park. It looks spectacular!

1 Thess 5:18
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
I love your positive attitude.

Where one is born or where they are from is accidental to what matters. In Christ, those things don't matter. Those things pertain to the kingdoms of this world. The Word became flesh. The Word, through whom all things came into being, erases the distinctions humans use to carve up humanity. "Nazarene" is not a divine title but a human one.

I have good internet in my kennel..
That's only because the 5G modem on your kennel roof is hooked up to Buckingham Palace on account of being ex-royalty.

You're on borrowed time though - the Jack Russell's are coming!

Ask the King!

Well, where we live is a thing of this life. Yes, give thanks for what God has given to us. And what matters is how we use things for God.

"and be content with such things as you have" (in Hebrews 13:5)

With God we can make *~His~* good use of all we have.
