CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Honestly, I don't even know what you're arguing in this thread Chesterton.
Guy was involved in a riot, but you downplay his participation out of your own ignorance on the matter.
You argue he "Served his time" (he did not).
So far, you don't even provide an argument or a position with evidence.
He got shot by the police after doing what he did on Jan 6 again and in public.
He was allowed to carry a gun again...and so he did and he tried to shoot a cop with it.
Are you trying to downplay Jan 6?

The officer's bodycam was released from the incident. Officer did nothing wrong from what I saw. J6'er got what he deserved.

Clearly rhe police are at fault like they aee at fault for every other shooting. We should riot in rhe streets and defund them.
