In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trying to deport legal citizens, elected officials from an opposing party, is Banana Republic stuff. This is not only antidemocratic but anti-republic. We have laws based on the Constitution.

This isn't saying anything about deporting her. Now, maybe you weren't intending to say that was the case and it was only for your subsequent example, but I wished to respond just in case.

The problem here is that your title is "MAGA Seeks to Deport Democratic Legislators". But one legislator (who appears, in his short term so far in office, to be one of the most extreme members of the House) does not "MAGA" make (and given only one person has been pointed to, "Democratic legislators" in the plural seems wrong too). And even this declaration of his seems to just be a fundraising stunt rather than any actual attempt to do so.

There are cases where citizenship can be revoked... It's called denaturalization, and is most often used for people who gave false statements during the naturalization process.
