  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Scripture:
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." – Isaiah 41:10

Reflection:
This verse has been such a source of comfort to me lately. I’ve been going through a time where the future feels uncertain, and it’s easy to let fear creep in. But God reminds me here that I am not alone—He is with me, He strengthens me, and He upholds me.

When I feel overwhelmed, I meditate on this verse and pray, asking God to take away my fear and replace it with His peace. I’ve seen Him work in my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined, providing reassurance and guidance when I needed it most.

Application:
If you’re feeling uncertain or afraid, let this verse remind you that God is always with you. You don’t have to face life’s challenges on your own. Take a moment to pray and reflect on His promises. His strength is perfect, even in our weakness.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your constant presence in my life. When I feel afraid, help me to trust in Your promises and rely on Your strength. Remind me daily that You are with me and will never leave me. Help me to walk in faith and peace, knowing You are in control. Amen.
