When you feel your joy gone from trying to gain brownie points with God, rather than allowing his love to fill you with his joy.
When you see shame as gaining brownie points with God, rather than the force that drives you to hide from his love.
When see the bible as a rule book to gain brownie points with God, rather than the greatest love story ever told.
When you are counting on brownie points to overcome the lust of the flesh, rather than understanding that comes from the love of God alive in your heart.
When you are looking to gain brownie points by living in fear of God, rather than understanding that his love casts out all your fears.
When you see brownie points as a means of earning his love and approval,, rather than understanding that He is already crazy in love with you and you are approved in Christ.
Trade in the brownies for God's love in Christ and lose the extra weight weighing you down.
