  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How much can we trust Guatemala to keep our most dangerous illegal alien criminals in custody?

It will be difficult to enter the country now since President Trump ended Biden's open border.

Obviously most illegals are and will be sent to their country of origin. But it's in the interest of public safety to insure that criminals like Jose Fernando-Perez be put in a facility we have control over.

Wait, so are we the world police or are we not? What authority do we claim to have to incarcerate people indefinitely?

President Trump’s hands were tied by Pelosi and the Democrats and their witch hunts and impeachments
No witch hunts. Keep in mind with both impeachments it was people from his own admin who ratted him out and testified against him.

I don't understand the liberal mind. We need to get such people off of the streets.
The liberal mind is referencing people who are here under the legal asylum process and who are not breaking laws. I think we had this conversation before where you don't distinguish between the two, and think those people here legally shouldn't be here either.
