  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love the Mother of God!

Well..yes, she's Mother of GOD THE SON, God the Father, has no mother. God the Holy Spirit, has no mother.

GOD THE SON, became MAN in the person of JESUS CHRIST, and his mother is Mary.

Jesus Christ is God, therefore Mary is the Mother of God.

The title "Mother of God" is confusing to many, especially to Protestants and those who reject the Holy Trinity.

No mother creates their offspring. All people other than the person's of the Holy Trinity, are created by God.

"Mother of God" is a christlogical title. It is about who Jesus is, not who Mary is. It is purely in defence of the Incarnation. Jesus is human because He is the offspring of a human, His mother Mary. But because He is also divine, it means His mother is the mother of God, otherwise you divide His person and run into all kinds of heresies.

I can surly agree with that statement. It's not that she created him, she entered the world through her. From my understanding, it's theonly way a human can enter the Earth.
