  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just hours ahead of Thursday's original deadline for employees to accept the offer, Judge O'Toole -- who was nominated to the bench by President Bill Clinton -- temporarily blocked the offer until Monday so he could consider issuing a temporary restraining offer pausing the order.
"I enjoined the defendants from taking any action to implement the so-called 'Fork Directive' pending the completion of briefing and oral argument on the issues," Judge O'Toole said in his ruling. "I believe that's as far as I want to go today."

Federal judges have to be realizing that they can be held accountable and impeachment is a real possibility when they go far outside of the Constitution.

How does a federal judge ruling on an issue before him go "far outside of the Constitution"? Isn't that what judges do?

What it's beginning to sound like to me is that some are arguing that the President's authority cannot be limited in any way by the courts. But surely, that can't be the case...haven't I been hearing all along that Trump does not plan on becoming a dictator? Surely, if that's the case, he wouldn't be trying to disarm the established bodies that can limit his power to do anything he could possibly want, as a dictator would. Right??

The Obama and Biden DOJ always fought on behalf of "the people" in cases, as rapacious corporations tried to shred disability, environmental, and other guardrails.
Now the rapacious richest man in the world attacks "the people" and the DOJ pleads for the oligarch. Ugh.

Both became quite wealthy, way beyond their salaries. The Biden administration lost track of hundreds of thousands of children, their policies enabled massive human trafficking, introducing slavery back into our country. They allowed some of the most violent criminals in the world into our country to prey upon the citizenry, a number are dead and families still grieve, while they safely resided in guarded residences. When the east coast was hit with a disaster Biden minions passed up people in need because they had a Trump sign on their property. Joe publicly announced he would allow a small incursion into Ukraine by Russia and look at how many are dead! When Martha's Vineyard was temporary overflowing with migrants Obama did not let one use his land there even for a few days. The Democrats refusal to do controlled burns and clear away brush in California helped fuel an environmental disaster that will affect the United States for years to come. Other environmental damage was done when Joe curtailed U.S. carbon fuels resulting in more use in the world of dirty oil from the Soviet Union and Iran. Windmills, pushed by the left, are killing whales and raptors. Trump wants no taxes on tips or Social Security and the Trump tax cuts made permanent. He wants the waste and fraud to stop. Trump wants money being used for hard left causes like a trans opera to instead go to the American people. Democrats continue their tactics of name-calling and sabotaging Trump's efforts for the American people.

I sure hope RFK, Jr., if confirmed, outlaws Kool aid.
So many lies masquerading as truth.
But the idea that Biden invited Putin into Ukraine is wacky enough to make my head explode!
Now Putin's American pal says that of course Russia will keep some of the land they stole.
Lies masquerading as truth.
