  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Recent discoveries in modern science and technology, in regards to the relationship of light to precious jewels, reveals an astounding phenomenon - about the particular jewels God uses in the walls of the New Jerusalem found in the book of Revelation in the Holy Bible. Written 2000 years ago!

First, reference:

Revelation 21:19-20

"The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst."

Second, check out this short vid about this amazing discovery of science:


Third, realize this. Though mankind has discovered a more pure source of light than ever before, we cannot begin to match the purity of light emanating from Almighty God Himself.

And Who will be amongst us - who believe - in this New Jerusalem, illuminating the precious jewels in the walls - not to mention the streets of gold and gates of pearl?

God Himself!

Revelation 21:23 NIV

"The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp."

And Who pays the price of admission for us? The Lamb Himself - Jesus Christ!

Cross polarized light isn't "more" pure, it is just polarized.

Why is there so little science contents in your OPs in the Science section? Most of your threads of late should probably be elsewhere on this site.

I would say a single, potent beam that reveals more than natural light visible to the human eye is more pure due to that reason alone - what it reveals.

But you are right too. The potential for this degree of observation has always existed, thus why I used the word "discovered".

God held back this knowledge from man for his own good purposes. I would say the vid reveals one very good reason - to demonstrate His Word is definitely His wisdom - He is the Source - not us.

If one actually watches the vid, it will reveal why. And one might just be satisfied in their desire for the inclusion of scientific observation.

And please read the byline to the Forum - "Open to non-believers". Kinda implies that believers are welcome, too? Believers as in Christians - not so subtly revealed in the overarching Forum title - Christian Forums.

If you're desiring an echo chamber where you can control the narrative, why not ask the mods to create an exclusive Evolution forum? Then you'll have no need to fear free exchange of ideas.

That's not a valid description of light. Polarized is polarized, not pure. We could shine a UV light on them too and see things you don't see in optical light, polarized or not. It is meaningless.
