Brother, wrong, the English of the KJV is not inspired and is not equivalent to the inspired Greek. What the KJV did by translating against the context is not found in the original Greek. We can trust the context of the Greek to guide us to the truth with the help of the Holy Spirit, but not the KJV translation which distorted the message against the context to "turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths". The translators did not like the message given in the context, so they translated the message against context to defend against opposition to their tradition about the Sabbath.
What do you mean against the context? It says euaggelizo. This means "To proclaim good news" the KJV says "gospel preached". There is no other special word for gospel. This is the verb form for gospel (thus preached...) and "gospel preached" is still a correct translation and 400 years ago gospel had more common usage.

Iesous is translated into Jesus. It is the same Greek word. Iesous is the Greek from of Joshua. So every instance of Iesous in the bible can be correctly translated into Joshua or Jesus. Hebrews 4 is no different. This historical figure expressed is Joshua of the OT, the Greek form of the name is used, this name is Jesus. Read Acts 7:45, the KJV says Jesus, other translations say Joshua. It doesn't matter, they are both the same name.

euaggelizo/Iesous are unapologetically used in the account without commentary. This is what the context is. A Greek reading the account would be faced with the same ambiguity that you are calling out. The KJV was true to that context and their approach is consistent with contemporary translations of the day.

Brother, I mean they translated the message "to mean something quite different" from the original message as expressed in the following passage.

And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him— speaking of these things in all of his letters. The KJV has gone through revised translation. The first edition was comically was called the she bible, because of typos. Seems the NKJV straighten it out.

That's not the only hiccup in the KJV here's another about pretty much the same thing you are referring to.

God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” Now IF JOSHUA HAD SUCCEEDED IN GIVING THEM THIS REST, GOD WOULD NOT HAVE SPOKEN ABOUT ANOTHER DAY of rest still to come. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. (Hebrews 4:1-11 NLT)​

This misunderstanding of the days of the week by “Joshua” due to the earlier Sabbath in Jerusalem spoken of in the book of Hebrews above is acknowledged in the following video, where it is shown that the days of the week in the manna-story are morning to morning and not like the earlier evening to evening Sabbath in Jerusalem, which Joshua misunderstood as a new seventh day of the week, when that was not the proper understanding of this earlier Sabbath "day" being separate from the week and fixed to the site of creation in Eden on the other side of the world from Jerusalem.
