Pursue, To Lay Hold Of Eternal Life
1 Timothy 6:
11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness,
godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which
you were also called and have confessed the good confession
in the presence of many witnesses.
Imitators Of God
Ephesians 5:
1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
Walk In Love
2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us,
an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Walk In Light
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.
Walk as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
Walk In Wisdom
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord.
Walk In Edification Of Others
Romans 14:19 Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace
and the things by which one may edify another.
Walk In The Prophetic Spirit
1 Corinthians 14:
1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God,
for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
Follow After Perfection In The High Calling of Christ
Philippians 3:
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on,
that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward
to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
dioko [G1377] to pursue, and be pursued G1377 - diōkō - Strong's Greek Lexicon (kjv)
1 Corinthians 1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God
and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
Pursue these things and the God of Peace Will Be With You
Romans 15:33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
