In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear friends,

I'm reaching out to ask for your prayers. My father has been very unwell recently. He hasn't been eating for about a week, and he fell from his bed the other day, struggling to breathe. He's still having difficulty breathing, has no appetite, and is weak when walking.

I'm worried about him and would be so grateful if you could join me in praying for his healing and recovery. Please pray for:

- His strength and healing: That God would touch him with His healing power, restoring his strength, appetite, and breathing.
- Comfort and peace: That God would comfort him and ease his discomfort and anxieties.
- Support for our family: That we would find strength and hope during this difficult time.

Heavenly father, I pray in the name of your Son Jesus Christ that you would give strength and healing to Jane's father and restore his strength and give him peace and comfort during this difficult time. I also pray that you would ease his anxieties and give strength and hope to his family. If it is your will., I pray that you would give him a complete healing that would glorify you.
