The Water of Life in Revelation: Jesus = Spirit + Bride
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
As written in Revelation Chapters 1 and 22, those who follow His commands must undergo a series of reflective processes, as outlined in the mind map.
Understanding the beginning and the end—this, I would describe as passing through the gates. In Revelation 4:1, it is written that a door in heaven is opened, and the things that must come to pass are revealed. Passing through this door, we are shown the vision recorded in Revelation 22, where we reach the tree of life.
Moreover, we notice that within the context of Revelation 22, where the tree of life is described, the grace of the [Lord] Jesus Christ is not mentioned. Instead, it is solely the direct reign of the [Lord] God and the presence of the sacrificial Lamb.
Ultimately, all these visions are declared as ones shown to John by the angel, and in Revelation 1, John testifies that he saw all the visions the angel revealed to him. Now, the real sequence begins.
The one who comes with the clouds is consistently described within John's visions as the [Lord] God Almighty. Furthermore, all the plagues that the Lord Almighty brings culminate in Revelation 16, where "It is done" is proclaimed, marking the end of these judgments.
Revelation 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
So, What Do Jesus' Description and Words in Revelation 22 Mean?
Unlike the one coming with the clouds, Jesus describes Himself as [Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last]. Furthermore, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is [Lord], is shown by transforming those who would enter the lake of fire into those who are "Outside."
Jesus entrusts the prophecy in Revelation to those referred to as "you," namely, the Spirit and the Bride—a man and a woman. They are instructed to testify the prophetic words of Revelation to the churches, or the congregations.
His words are explicitly confined to the prophecy recorded in Revelation, as He declares that anyone who adds to the words of this prophecy will face all the plagues written in the book. Conversely, anyone who takes away from these words will have their portion removed from the book of life (or the tree of life) and the holy city described within.
Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Now, the man and woman in reality referred to as the Spirit and the Bride by Jesus must testify to people about the things that must shortly come to pass, based solely on the written content of Revelation.
This testimony is not about the judgment and plagues brought by the return of the [Lord] God Almighty, but about receiving the grace that comes with the return of the [Lord] Jesus Christ. As Jesus Himself declared, if anyone adds to the content of this book, the plagues written therein will be added to them, and if anyone removes from it, their share in the tree of life (or the book of life) and the holy city will be taken away. Therefore, we must pay special attention to these words to receive the grace of the [Lord] Jesus Christ.
However, in practice, understanding the events of Revelation requires connecting and adding the prophetic words of the Old and New Testaments. If all the prophetic words connected to Revelation are used in interpretation, we risk receiving the plagues recorded in Revelation. However, on the other hand, if we carefully consider, we can understand that by excluding all references to the plagues, it would only result in the loss of one’s share in the tree of life (or the book of life) and in the holy city.
Thus, we are now presented with a choice.
The declaration of "It is done" is divided into two instances in Revelation: once in Chapter 16 (Rev 16:17) and again in Chapter 21 (Rev 21:6). Furthermore, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed in Chapter 22 (Rev 22:12, 14, 16, 17, 21). By wisely discerning these elements and making righteous choices, we can connect and add the prophetic messages from the Old and New Testaments to arrive at the answer.
The Right and Righteous Way to Receive Grace and Blessings
If these two situations are connected to the messages found in the prophetic books and are added accordingly, we may not obtain the right to the tree of life and the holy city. However, we will belong to God, His tabernacle, and what is described as His New Jerusalem (Rev 21:3 = Psalm 68). Then the declaration "It is done" will be made.
Additionally, the identity of the Lord Jesus Christ as Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last, will be revealed (Rev 22:16 = the Root and Offspring of David in Psalm 72). Those who are placed "outside" rather than in the lake of fire will also be confirmed.
This is the "Righteousness" that believers can choose on behalf of unbelieving humanity.
The Way to Choose Misery
Beyond these two scenarios, if one desires the unfortunate judgments and plagues depicted in Revelation and seeks to add content from prophetic books concerning such events, all humanity, including Christians, will inevitably share in the miserable declaration of "It is done." This choice will result in the loss of the right to the tree of life and the holy city, leaving nothing behind.
God’s Gift of Free Will to Choose Happiness
Before initiating the events that must come to pass, God granted all humanity the free will to choose the path to happiness.
Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
The long-awaited return of the Lord Jesus Christ by Christians is not the one who comes with the clouds. Instead, His presence is revealed through a man described as the Spirit and the Bride, who represent Him as “the First and the Last” and “the Root and Offspring of David.” I am a woman referred to as the Bride who is alongside Him.
These two will testify in the last days, fulfilling the role of providing the water of life.
The time is near. Before the coming of the Lord God Almighty, we must correctly discern these records, seek the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and find the revelation of God the Father’s tabernacle in the prophetic books to understand and belong to Him.

The Right and Righteous Way to Receive Grace and Blessings
- To receive the grace of the [Lord] Jesus Christ and ensure that humanity is placed "outside" instead of in the lake of fire, one can add and connect prophetic messages related to this purpose.
- To belong to the "It is done" state in the new heaven and new earth, where everything has been made new, and to be with God, one can add and connect prophetic messages related to this purpose.

The Way to Choose Misery
- Waiting for the [Lord] God Almighty, who comes with the clouds, as described in Revelation, to bring the judgment and plagues that must come to pass (Rev 1:7).
- To belong to the "It is done" state, which is accompanied by all the plagues (Rev 16:17), by finding and adding content related to it from this prophetic book.
Beyond these two scenarios, if one desires the unfortunate judgments and plagues depicted in Revelation and seeks to add content from prophetic books concerning such events, all humanity, including Christians, will inevitably share in the miserable declaration of "It is done."
