  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trump's base likes to gloat about his election as a validation of their agenda, but can they trust Trump's children to carry it out?
Heck, can they even trust Trump to carry out his promised election. I still remember all the grand claims in 2016 : Mexico paying for the wall, an improved version of the ACA, locking Hillary up, better funding for college and so on. But then he got in office and his followers got none of those.

Did anyone really suffer under his leadership, though? We were doing FANTASTIC!

I'm ecstatic to have him back in the White House!

BY FAR, the BEST President in my lifetime.

The end of ‘never Trump’ will come naturally. He cannot run again for president. Consequently the ‘never Trump’ position has become irrelevant to presidential election campaigning. He has four years and a few short days until he is no longer president. The ‘never Trump’ thing expires totally then.

The real danger right now is some ‘Nazi hunter’ with a gun, but that phenomenon is the result of Kamala rhetoric.
Yup. In 2028, he will be a private citizen and live the rest of his years in relative obscurity.

Four years is a long time.

I'm all for good policies. IMHO we dodged some awful policies when Kamala was defeated.

The Catholic hatred is already thick. Catholics and evangelicals and other more traditional believers are not going to be popular with the woke mobs who are so trying to subvert us all. They want to turn us, and if they can't they will simply hate on us with arson and everything else in their toolbox.

Oh, I know. On my side of the fence we got less than a percent of the vote. Democrats hate on us because we aren't sufficiently against Trump to vote for Kamala. Republicans hate on us for not being sufficiently against Kamala to vote for Trump. They all say, as if with one voice, that we wasted our votes by not voting for their particular savior. I am so glad this election is over and hoping for a tiny but of peace.
As a faithful Catholic, I voted AGAINST Harris because she hates us so much. So does Obama.

Bigotry is bigotry.

Elections should be abandoned. From now on the way we should decide who rules America is their name is Trump.
Although I have no idea what it means, I like the cut of your jib.

I like all the 'he's going to do all kinds of dictator stuff'... 'He's not going to do anything' complaints all over the internet and media. Make up your mind folks.

Don, Eric, Ivanka, anyone of them will do. Genius Barron is the real golden child, but he's still a tad young for the job.
I read an interview with Paul Stanley from KISS, where he was saying he wanted to keep KISS alive as a money-making business concern after he and Gene died. The idea was to have the band perform as holograms. I'd vote for a hologram of Trump over pretty much any Democrat.

Those who don’t like Trump just complain, and bring up the most ridiculous assertions that have no basis in reality.

Trump is no real thread to anyone.

Ivanka being the first female AND Jewish President?

Sounds like a win win to me!

I've seen more than one sci-fi film or show were someone's mind was transferred into a computer or a robot to give them immortality.

I’m glad it was so great for you. I predict Trump voters will suddenly talk great things about the economy come Jan 21. Though nothing will have changed from the current trajectory.

Ok. I see no problem with that.
